I have been involved with UP Basketball in some ways for the past 18 years. From benchwarmer and player for UP Men’s Junior Basketball Team, statistician, photographer, etc. but mostly, just a fan of UP Basketball, watching games live and on TV, win or lose.

hi!
just want to ask what happened to the FEU FERN recruits from last yr. soc rivera and co?
have not seen them in the line up of the summer leagues. is there any reason for this? thanks

Soc Rivera has decided to transfer to another school, I believe it’s Adamson and Woody Co is still with UP but injured, thanks

There’s no official line-up yet for the coming UAAP season, the tentative line-up is the one playing in FilOil games

what does a player do when they’re not in the line up?

They are delegated to Team B, they still practice with the team and have the chance to be in the line up next season if they are not yet graduating.

sadness because we lose last time in men’s basketball but no matter what UP FIGHT!

well, it’s not just a simple win but a great victory… 3rd quarter na 16 pa rin score ng adamson(wow!) =)… hope our team will play like that in our next games…

ei i was wondering if anyone could help me out, i want to try out for up maroons basketball and i still dont have any info on this. hope anyone could help me out. at “sana” this year alang pulitika ang tryouts..pati ba nmn sa basketball pinupulitika narin..*geez* anyway anyone out there who knows any tryout opening, kahit ano, any basketball related activities that i could tryout for i would be glad to attend to it..-N(upmanila)

gus2 ko lang maging player dream ko yun grade school pa nagtryout me sa trinity university ok na sana pero tinangal ang varsity team.wala kasi me pang tuition and awa me sa parents ko.baon pa sa utang kaya sana makapasok me dian kahit mahirapan ako gagagwin ko maging part lang ng team.

im not that good pero il do all my best para magimprove actually laging sa course lang namin me nakakalaro…im a varsity swimmer in san sebastian 4 to years pero sabi ko i have to pursue my dreams to be a player.talang wala na kasi kami pang tuition for me wala kasi nako tatay eh kaya single parent lang mom ko hop ul help me…

first, i would like to knoe hoe to try out with basketball varsity in UP.. coz i want to challenge myself… is there any requirements in order to start having a try out? i would like to know where?when? and how? is the try out gonna be set up. pls inform me… coz i starve for this oppurtunity….

Ginoong mod, i am religiously watching the games this year and I’d like to extend my help if you need some hand in putting up articles for this site. Kahit nga play-by-play pwede nating gawin dito, kasi Im doing the same in Facebook for some friends na hindi nakakapanood. Kung gusto nyo lang naman.

I do not think they sell a season pass, because games are held in different venues, you can buy tickets at the venue itself or try at UP Gym, thanks for supporting the team!

It’s still UP Fighting Maroons, but the plan to change it is still open and it will apply next year.

hi! sa mga university under UAAP lang ba nkakapag avail ng UAAP magazine? wala ba sa mall nun?? high school palang kasi ako then FAN ako ng UP FIGHTING MAROONS…gusto ko sana makabili nun para sa collections ko…pati cm8s ko gusto din…thanks!!! UP FIGHT!!!
