  1. Looking back at the coaching change after two games into the season, was it the right decision? UP did better the past two seasons with a much weaker team. At least the team won several games in last two seasons before this year. I believe the move was a step-back to 2007.

  2. Hi Jose,

Although it’s quite difficult to believe it, I think it was a wise move because the players now have a system, albeit weak but still they actually ‘think’ now unlike when they all seem to be doing was run and try to pass and hope (and pray) it will go in.

I believe in Coach Boyet and I hope he will lead us finally to a victory if not this season then maybe the next…

  3. I really can’t see many changes in how the team is playing now compared to how they played under Coach Aboy. I think changing horses mid-steam combined with loosing a couple tough games right after the coaching change maybe caused a bit of a set back that snow-balled into more losses.

I saw against FEU that coach Boyet sat some players down after missing defensive assignments. That was encouraging. UP gives up way too many points because players gamble for a steal and end up conceding a layup. If UP plays solid team defense against UE they will win. If not, the out come will probably be like the rest of Season 73.
