It was a very exciting game — grabe!!! I watched it live and even watched the replay…
whew, 89% shooting in the fourth quarter. Every one scored and we limited our turnovers to about 14, I think if I remember what they said and what my sister and I counted. hehehe.
Great job to the entire team. Selfless plays. Truly great game!

totally unexpected. hope they can keep it up. UP GO! [:

WOW! Damn I didnt watch the game… These type of win will surely bring back live crowds!
Nicely done! Pagsisisihan ng Ateneo ang paglalaro nila sa game nung simula… Hahaha…

Great win for UP. They were more active than Ateneo especially in rebounding and defense. Some AdMU players’ heads seemed not in the game. UP played steady in the second half and Ateneo looked frustated. How I wonder if the maroons had limited their turnovers against adu, nu and dlsu, they could have won these games. The UP players seem now know their roles and coach Aboy Castro seems now able to utilize his players effectively. I just hope that this is no fluke. WaLa ng ZERO-14. Nice confidence booster.

What a way to make it known that the season is not yet lost. Hope that this is the start of something good.

I was about to consign the entire season of the the maroons to the loss bracket, but my unbelief was dispelled yesterday by the epic upset of the first round, and perhaps of the season. Great game guys! I congratulate you. Let’s just get things done one game at a time, ayt?
Kudos to Coach Aboy Castro! His chemical genius in mixing the veterans with the newbies have paid off. I think Co, Lopez, Reyes and the other veterans are now in sync with guys like Padilla and Gomez in their plays.
Before I get ahead of myself, I just realized that up ahead UP in the next games are all the top teams: UE, UST and FEU. Well, I won’t say much, but just this: play with heart. Remember, even while we are in our homes, you bring us to the court with you every time you step on it to play in behalf of the believing community of the iskolars!
Go UP!

Let’s support the team. Next game is with FEU
I am still smiling until now. Go Maroons!
Yung mga sa TV lang “sumusuporta” — ahem.

it was amazing all throughout. UP was able to keep Ateneo’s lead down to four at the half, i think, and my friend and i were saying that whatever happens we will be happy about the game since maganda nga ang nilaro ng team. and then at the end we won. amazing. i almost fell off where i was standing – jumping, actually – when the game was finished. that was the happiest, most memorable UP Naming Mahal na nakanta ko in my four years in UP. Just have faith and really work hard. we can add more to that win column.
