JonJon Tabique

Our condolences to the family and friends of former UP Fighting Maroon JonJon Tabique.

Tabique was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma, a form of cancer affecting the lymphatic system in 2004. He underwent Chemotherapy with the help of the Benefit Game proceeds, the exhibition game was held in February 2004 and was a complete success. (Players from UP/San Beda/San Miguel played an exhibition game to raise funds for his medical needs)

Let us all pray for him. May he rest in peace.

  1. So sad, he died too young… Now I believe that THE GOOD DIE YOUNG. He was a nice person but he passed away suddenly because he already accomplished his task here by spreading friendships and touching a lot of person’s lives. But I know, God has a better plan for him. ^^

    I hope his death will become a inspiration for the Fighting Maroons to play inspired ball game next season…

    Mr. Jonjon Tabique, May your soul rest in peace. Hope God guide you and your beloved family, friends, fans and everyone perpetually. I hope that you will have a good and safe journey back to your creator. We will always remember you as a good friend, an idolized person, and of course, a Fighting Maroon. You will forever be in our hearts and we will cheer for you forever. Our prayers and support will always be here.
